Requires non-public schools to submit to the education commissioner valid copies of a certificate of incorporation or charter, current certificate of occupancy, recent fire inspection report, building capacity statement, and list of other registered non-public schools at the same address prior to issuance of a Basic Educational Data System (BEDS) code and annually thereafter

All non-public schools currently holding a BEDS code must provide these documents as part of annual recertification by December 31, 2024

Failure to submit required documents by the December 31, 2024 deadline and each subsequent year will result in withholding of reimbursements to the school

Non-compliance for 90 days after deadline may result in revocation of the school's BEDS code at the commissioner's discretion, with schools afforded a right to be heard by the commissioner

Commissioner retains authority to require additional documentation from non-public schools as deemed necessary
