Extends suspension of pension and annuity payments to retired public employees who accept employment with public authorities or public benefit corporations, in addition to state and municipal civil service positions.

Modifies retirement and social security law to exclude public authorities and public benefit corporations from the exceptions that allow retired persons to work without losing retirement benefits.

Applies pension suspension requirements to retired New York City employees who hold compensated positions with public authorities or public benefit corporations.

Suspends optional pension benefits for deceased retirees' beneficiaries during periods of re-employment with public authorities or public benefit corporations, unless beneficiaries reimburse the pension fund.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
