Amends Agriculture and Markets Law Section 358 to replace references to "horses" with "Equidae" to broaden the scope of protected animals.

Increases the maximum fine for auctioneers who knowingly sell disabled animals at public auction from $100 to $1,000.

Changes the minimum fine requirement from "not less than five dollars" to "not more than" the specified amount, allowing for fines up to $1,000.

Maintains the criminal penalty as a misdemeanor with imprisonment for not more than six months, or both fine and imprisonment.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
