Establishes the "health care worker peer support program" under Mental Hygiene Law Section 7.50 to provide peer-to-peer mental health support services for health care workers.

Creates a grant program administered by the commissioner to distribute funds to eligible entities that provide initial and continued training in mental illness, post-traumatic stress disorder, and suicide prevention for health care worker volunteers.

Limits individual grants to a maximum of $250,000 per eligible entity and requires the commissioner to establish standards for training, staffing, and best practices.

Prohibits grant recipients from maintaining records on health care workers seeking support or reporting any personally identifying information to the commissioner.

Appropriates $10,000,000 from the state general fund for implementation, effective immediately upon enactment.
