Grants George A. Amendola Tier II status in the New York State and Local Employees' Retirement System retroactive to September 20, 1974, his first date of eligibility with the Niagara Falls school district.

Requires Amendola to file a written request with the state comptroller no later than one year after the act's effective date to receive the benefit recalculation.

Comptroller shall recalculate and adjust Amendola's retirement benefits as if he had been a Tier II member since September 20, 1974.

Niagara Falls school district shall bear all past service costs associated with the change, estimated at approximately $33,600 as a one-time payment.

No contributions previously made to the retirement system shall be returned or refunded to Amendola.
