Proposes amendment to Section 6 of Article 3 of the New York Constitution to require voter approval for any legislative salary increases.

Mandates that any amendment to increase member salaries must be submitted to voters at the next general election and approved by a majority of votes cast.

Requires ballots to display the current legislative salary, proposed increased salary, and explicitly ask "Shall the increase in salary be approved?"

Salary increase takes effect immediately upon voter approval at the general election.

Amendment must be published for 3 months before the election and referred to the first regular legislative session following the next general election of assembly members.
