Limits workers' compensation liens on third-party recoveries to amounts representing lost wages or medical expenses only.

Allows employees to recover compensation and pursue third-party actions simultaneously without having to elect between remedies.

Requires reasonable and necessary expenditures, including attorney's fees, to be deducted from recoveries before applying the lien.

Permits courts to equitably apportion costs and expenses between the injured employee/dependents and the lienor through a court application process.

Adds new provision allowing petitions to allocate portions of third-party recoveries specifically to lost wages and/or medical treatment.
