Amends Civil Service Law Section 150 to suspend pension and annuity payments for retired elected officials who return to the same elective public office from which they retired.

Eliminates the exception that previously allowed retired elected officials to collect retirement benefits if their earnings from that office did not exceed the earning limitation in Retirement and Social Security Law Section 212.

Removes the age 70 unlimited earnings provision for retired elected officials who return to the same elective public office they previously held.

Applies the suspension of retirement benefits until the person vacates the elective public office.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
