Requires legislative approval for any contract involving the sale or transfer of real property owned or controlled by the New York City Housing Authority to a private entity.

Adds new section 402-a to the Public Housing Law to establish this approval requirement.

Renumbers existing sections 402-a and 402-b to sections 402-b and 402-c respectively to accommodate the new provision.

Takes effect immediately and applies to all NYC Housing Authority property conveyance contracts to private entities executed on or after the effective date.
