Mental health benefits for correction officers and emergency dispatchers must be accessed through the same policies and procedures as those used by police officers and firefighters

Collective bargaining agreements and employment contracts for emergency dispatchers and correction officers must provide identical post-traumatic stress disorder benefits and services as those given to police officers and firefighters

Employee organizations representing emergency dispatchers and correction officers may negotiate for greater post-traumatic stress disorder benefits and services than those provided to police officers and firefighters

Act takes effect immediately upon enactment
