Establishes a nine-member Mental Health Housing Evaluation Task Force for Aging in Place within the office of mental health to study barriers to aging in place for residents of community-based mental health housing programs.

Task force to make recommendations on removing barriers to mental health and medical care access, making residences ADA compliant, training staff for elderly care needs, and assisting with medical appointment transportation.

Membership includes three members appointed by the governor, two by the speaker of the assembly, two by the temporary president of the senate, and one each by the minority leaders of the senate and assembly, with required representation from advocacy groups, healthcare professionals, mental health professionals, and program directors.

Task force members shall receive no compensation but are reimbursed for actual and necessary expenses and must meet at least three times to complete their work.

Task force shall submit findings and recommendations to the governor and legislature within twelve months of the act becoming law; the task force expires thirty days after the report is submitted to the legislature.
