Creates a presumption that heart disease disabilities or deaths for correction officers, correction supervisors, deputy sheriff patrol, and deputy sheriff patrol supervisors in the New York State and Local Employees' Retirement System were incurred in the performance of duty unless proven otherwise.

Qualifies members must have passed a physical examination before entry into service that showed no evidence of heart disease or heart impairment.

Provides accidental disability benefits of 3/4 of final average salary (less workers' compensation) for Tiers 1-2 members and 2/3 of final average salary for Tier 3-6 members covered under Article 14-B; other Tier 3-6 members receive 1/3 of final average salary.

Exempts the presumption from Section 25 of the Retirement and Social Security Law.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment with anticipated negligible fiscal impact.
