Replaces confidentiality language for "floor plans, blueprints, schematics or other maps" with "site mapping for emergency response" in school building emergency response plans.

Requires site maps to be provided in formats compatible with law enforcement and school security software platforms without requiring purchase of additional software or third-party integration.

Mandates site maps be printable, oriented true north, overlaid with gridded x/y coordinates, and verified annually through walkthroughs; districts must provide floor plans on aerial imagery, detailed interior labeling (access points, hazardous materials, defibrillators), and grounds labeling (parking, fields, roads).

Adds "site mapping for emergency response" to eligible expenses for school district building aid, with the commissioner to prescribe an annual special cost allowance.

Takes effect six months after becoming law.
