Changes references to "aquatic plant" districts throughout the Town Law to "aquatic growth control" districts to clarify the scope of species that can be controlled.

Defines "aquatic growth" to include aquatic invertebrate species and aquatic plants identified as invasive pursuant to Environmental Conservation Law title seventeen, article nine.

Applies the definition and updated terminology consistently across multiple sections of the Town Law governing establishment, extension, financing, and administration of improvement districts (sections 190, 193, 198, 202, 209-a, and 209-d).

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
