Entities receiving state funding for workforce development purposes must file annual reports with the New York Department of Labor beginning January 31, 2024, and every January 31 thereafter.

Reports must include the number of individuals contacted for workforce development, the number who received and completed training, and participating organizations such as unions and employers.

Reports must document types of training and certifications offered, new jobs created with wages paid, and hiring outcomes including starting wages for training program completers.

Reports must track employment status of hired individuals at 6, 12, 18, and 24 months after hiring, including whether they remained with the reporting employer and their current wages and field.

Reports must include suggestions for improving the workforce development program and be filed in a form approved by the Commissioner of Labor.
