Grants Barbara Juh retroactive Tier 5 status in the New York State and Local Employees' Retirement System, effective September 16, 2010, contingent on her filing a written request within 6 months of the act's effective date.

Juh was employed part-time as a registered nurse at Adirondack Correctional Facility from September 16, 2010 to December 16, 2012, and full-time by the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision from December 17, 2012 to December 31, 2021.

Juh failed to become a retirement system member on September 16, 2010 for reasons not ascribable to her own negligence; she currently holds Tier 6 status as a retiree.

Juh shall not receive a refund of any employee contributions she made to the retirement system.

The State of New York shall bear all past service costs incurred, estimated at approximately $15,300 as a one-time payment.
