Grants Anthony A. Fede retroactive Tier I status in the New York State and Local Employees' Retirement System with a membership date of March 17, 1970, his original employment date with Sewanhaka Central High School District.

Requires Fede to file a written request with the state comptroller within one year of the act's effective date to activate the new status.

Recalculates and makes retirement benefit payments retroactive to Fede's date of retirement, with no refund of member contributions to be issued.

Requires all participating employers in the retirement system to share the past service costs of implementation, estimated at approximately $205,000 if enacted during the 2023 legislative session.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
