Allows nurse practitioners to collaborate with either a licensed physician or another nurse practitioner (instead of only physicians) when diagnosing illness, physical conditions, and performing therapeutic and corrective measures within their specialty area.

Requires written practice agreements and protocols between collaborators, with explicit provisions for resolving disagreements about diagnosis or treatment.

Establishes that if a practice agreement lacks dispute resolution provisions, the collaborating physician's diagnosis or treatment decision prevails.

Makes permanent sections one, two, six, and seven of the 2022 nurse practitioner modernization law by removing their two-year expiration date, while sections three and four remain subject to the original sunset provision.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
