Requires every campus of the State University of New York (SUNY) and City University of New York (CUNY) to provide access to contraceptive drugs and devices to all enrolled students.

Institutions must either employ or contract with individuals authorized to dispense and prescribe contraceptive drugs and devices within their lawful scope of practice under New York education law.

Alternatively, institutions may provide students with information and referrals to local providers authorized to dispense and prescribe contraceptive drugs and devices.

Effective date is August 1, 2023, with authorization for necessary regulatory changes to be completed by that date.
