Adds deceased paid deputy sheriff members of the New York City Sheriff's Department to the list of public employees eligible for special accidental death benefits (SADB) under General Municipal Law Section 208-f

Provides SADB equal to 100% of Final Salary (offset by Social Security and workers' compensation benefits) to eligible beneficiaries if the deputy sheriff died as a natural and proximate result of an accident sustained in performance of duty

Limits eligibility to cases where the widow or widower is ineligible to receive benefits under Retirement and Social Security Law Section 361-a

Estimated to increase the present value of future benefits by approximately $1.1 million per eligible deputy sheriff who dies in the line of duty

Estimated to increase annual employer contributions by approximately $135,000 per eligible deputy sheriff death, with increases amortized over a closed 15-year period
