Expands the purposes of the Grand Island Volunteer Firemen's Benevolent Association to include promoting welfare of volunteer members, providing for their health and safety, and offering social and recreational activities.

Adds "injured" to the types of members and families eligible for relief and assistance from the corporation.

Broadens the allowable uses of foreign fire insurance premium taxes collected under Insurance Law sections 9104 and 9105 from only "care and relief of disabled or indigent volunteer firemen" to all purposes set forth in the corporation's charter.

Takes effect immediately and applies to taxes due on premiums received on and after January 1, 2024.
