Extends the Department of Environmental Conservation's authority to regulate sharks from December 31, 2023 to December 31, 2026.

Authorizes the department to establish regulations for shark management including size limits, catch and possession limits, open and closed seasons, and closed areas.

Permits regulations on fishing methods, landing requirements, permit requirements, recordkeeping, fishing effort and gear specifications, and rules for transportation, possession, and sale of sharks.

Requires all shark management regulations to be at least as restrictive as existing environmental conservation law requirements and consistent with Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission and Federal Fishery Conservation and Management Act requirements.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
