Authorizes the office of court administration to pay 15 supreme court and appellate division justices their salaries for the period January 1, 2021 to June 14, 2021, after they were denied certification in September 2020 and prevented from resuming service until June 15, 2021.

Requires deduction of any outside earnings during that period so justices do not receive more than they would have earned as New York state employees.

Authorizes payment to the New York state and local employees' retirement system for pension contributions that would have accrued during the period, and allows reinstatement of the 15 justices to the retirement system for that period retroactively.

Authorizes the comptroller to waive interest owed by any of the 15 justices who withdrew pensions during the period and are now required to repay them.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
