Prohibits insurers from requiring property owners to disclose on insurance applications whether tenants receive rental assistance from government agencies, housing authorities, or other entities that limit tenant rent to a percentage of income.

Prevents insurers from canceling, refusing to issue, refusing to renew, or increasing premiums based solely on tenants receiving rental assistance.

Prevents insurers from excluding, limiting, restricting, or reducing coverage under a policy based solely on the presence of tenants receiving rental assistance.

Allows insurers to take other permitted actions under insurance law unrelated to rental assistance status, such as cancellation or premium increases based on other factors.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
