Requires all health insurance plans in New York that provide medical coverage including physician services or major medical coverage to include coverage for medically necessary epinephrine auto-injector devices for emergency treatment of life-threatening allergic reactions

Caps the total out-of-pocket cost for two epinephrine auto-injector devices at $60 per thirty-day supply, regardless of the insured's deductible, copayment, coinsurance, or other cost-sharing requirements

Allows coverage to be subject to annual deductibles and coinsurance as deemed appropriate by the superintendent, consistent with other benefits in the policy

Permits insurers to reduce the covered person's cost-sharing to an amount lower than $60 if they choose

Takes effect on January 1 following enactment and applies to all policies issued, renewed, modified, altered, or amended on or after that date
