Creates new Public Health Law section 3445 allowing funeral establishments to provide insurance sales through persons licensed under Insurance Law article eleven, including funeral directors themselves.

Amends Public Health Law section 3450 to permit funeral directors licensed to sell insurance to accept compensation from insurers for insurance sales, removing the prior blanket prohibition.

Specifies that funeral directors may continue to accept up to 0.25% of authorized fees from financial institutions for administrative services related to advance funeral service payments.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
