Replaces the term "Kung Fu star" with "throwing star" or "shuriken" throughout the Penal Law as the official designation for disc-like weapons with sharpened points designed to be thrown.

Updates the definition in Penal Law Section 265.00(15-b) to use the corrected terminology while maintaining the existing definition of the weapon as a disc-like object with sharpened circumference points designed for use as a thrown weapon.

Modifies Section 120.55(1) to replace "shirken, 'Kung Fu Star'" with "shuriken, throwing star" in the list of weapons relevant to stalking in the third degree offenses.

Amends Sections 265.01 and 265.10 to replace "Kung Fu star" with "throwing star" in provisions governing illegal possession, manufacture, and transportation of weapons.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
