Amends Civil Service Law Section 50(2)(b) to change language from "issue every announcement" to "provide notice" of competitive examinations to specified entities within the same geographic area.

Modifies the list of entities that must receive notice to include school districts (instead of high schools), public colleges, and public universities.

Adds job training programs to the list of entities requiring notification, to the extent practicable.

Allows entities receiving notices to sign up for electronic notification when civil service examination announcements are issued.

Takes effect on the same date as the 2023 law (S. 5486 and A. 6855) that originally established these civil service examination announcement requirements.
