Increases the state subsidy for school lunch meals by an additional 25 cents per meal for school years beginning July 1, 2022 and each July 1 thereafter.

School food authorities must certify to the Department of Agriculture and Markets that they purchased at least 30 percent of their total food product costs from New York state farmers, growers, producers, or processors in the preceding school year to qualify for the subsidy.

The 25-cent subsidy includes any annual state subsidies the school food authority receives under other state law provisions.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
