Adds licensed creative arts therapists to the list of mental health professionals authorized to bill Medicaid directly for services under New York Social Services Law Section 365-a.

Extends Medicaid coverage to services provided by creative arts therapists licensed pursuant to Article 163 of the Education Law, when such services would otherwise be covered under Medicaid.

Specifies that this authorization does not modify or expand the scope of practice for creative arts therapists beyond their existing legal scope.

Takes effect ninety days after becoming law.
