Prohibits the sale of tobacco products and vapor products within 500 feet of any public or private school in New York State.

Measurement of the 500-foot distance shall be taken in straight lines from the nearest point of the school property line to the nearest point of the business property line.

Violations are enforced pursuant to existing section 1399-ff of the Public Health Law, with provisions allowing any person to submit a complaint to an enforcement officer.

Takes effect 180 days after becoming law.
