Establishes the New York State Worker Protection and Labor Law Enforcement Fund in the joint custody of the State Comptroller and Commissioner of Taxation and Finance.

Fund consists of all monetary damages and penalties recovered by the Department of Labor for employer violations of specified labor law articles (including minimum wage, overtime, and worker safety regulations) unless otherwise designated.

Appropriated fund monies are available to the Commissioner of Labor solely to supplement the department's labor law enforcement duties, in addition to other departmental appropriations.

Department of Labor must provide an annual written report by January 1st to legislative leaders and the State Comptroller detailing enforcement proceedings initiated, funds collected and dispersed, personnel hired, and financial projections for the next fiscal year.

Act takes effect April 1, 2024.
