Office of Court Administration must conduct a study on causes and effects of racial and ethnic disparities in jury selection pools and juror selection statewide and regionally.

Study must identify how racial and ethnic disparities in jury selection affect case outcomes and recommend ways to reduce or eliminate such disparities.

Office of Court Administration may consult with specialists in fields related to mitigating and eliminating racial and ethnic disparities during the study.

Office must submit a report to the Governor, temporary president of the Senate, Speaker of the Assembly, and minority leaders of both chambers within one year of the law's effective date.

Office may submit additional reports assessing the extent to which prior recommendations have been implemented and their impact on reducing racial and ethnic disparities in jury selection.
