Office for People with Developmental Disabilities must submit a comprehensive waitlist and placement report to the Senate and Assembly by January 1, 2025, and every six months thereafter.

Report must include statewide waitlist data broken down by developmental disability services office geographic area, organized by age of individuals awaiting placement and their caregivers' ages, with specific placement type categories.

Placement information must detail individuals placed in certified out-of-home, supervised, supportive, and at-home settings during the preceding six months, plus those placed outside the waitlist and reasons for placement.

Report must include data on individuals in current placements with inadequate living situations awaiting alternative placement, children aging out of residential placements, and failed or rejected placements with reasons and remedial actions.

Report must provide cost analysis of placements, appropriation funding sources and balances, projected funding requirements, five-year projections of placement needs, and a plan for meeting out-of-home residential placement needs by placement type.
