Establishes a five-year dental health demonstration project in Monroe County to reimburse providers for eligible dental diagnostic services.

Covers pregnant persons and post-partum persons for 12 months following birth who are enrolled in medical assistance.

Includes clinical services to treat existing dental problems, testing, self-directed imagery, and patient follow-up encounters.

Sets payment rates on a fee-for-service basis, with managed care plans able to elect coverage if the department adjusts administrative rates accordingly.

Expires and is repealed 5 years after taking effect.
