Allows Suffolk County fire districts participating in the New York State and Local Employees' Retirement System to elect to provide early retirement benefits for emergency medical technicians, critical care technicians, advanced emergency medical technicians, paramedics, and supervisors of these titles.

Eligible members with 25 years of creditable service can retire without regard to age, receiving one-half of final average salary plus one-sixtieth of final average salary for each year of service over 25 years (capped at 15 additional years for Tiers 3-6).

Requires participating fire districts to adopt a resolution and file a certified copy with the state comptroller, accompanied by an affidavit confirming receipt of a cost estimate from the retirement system.

Fire districts electing to provide these benefits must bear all associated costs, including past service costs attributable to the program.

Act is a technical correction to Chapter 714 of the Laws of 2023 and takes effect immediately with retroactive application to December 8, 2023.
