Changes the organization name from "West Islip Exempt Firemen's Benevolent Association" to "West Islip Exempt Firefighter's Benevolent Association" and designates it as a not-for-profit corporation.

Expands the organization's stated purposes to include providing relief and assistance to disabled, indigent, or injured volunteer members and their families; maintaining headquarters; promoting health and safety; and providing social and recreational activities.

Updates terminology throughout the law to use gender-neutral language, replacing "firemen" with "firefighters" and "his" with "such person's."

Broadens the permitted use of foreign fire insurance premium taxes (collected under Insurance Law sections 9104 and 9105) from only relief of disabled members to furtherance of all purposes outlined in the amended Section 3.

Takes effect immediately, with amendments to tax provisions applying to taxes due on premiums received on and after January 1, 2025.
