Department of Health shall establish and conduct an ongoing public awareness and education program on uterine fibroids symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and elevated risk for minority women.

Department shall produce and distribute educational materials to healthcare providers for patient distribution and post information on the department's website, though materials from public, private, or governmental entities may be used in lieu of departmental materials.

Department shall periodically review available data on uterine fibroids and update educational materials and website information as appropriate.

Department shall submit reports to the Governor, temporary president of the Senate, and Speaker of the Assembly every three years beginning January 1, 2027, on implementation and recommendations.

Act takes effect on the 180th day after becoming law; implementation is contingent upon appropriations and regulatory changes are authorized immediately upon enactment.
