Changes the name of the "Alert Volunteer Exempt Firemen's Benevolent Association" to "Alert Volunteer Exempt Firefighter's Benevolent Association" throughout the Nassau County Civil Divisions Act.

Replaces all references to "fireman" and "firemen's" with "firefighter" and "firefighter's" in eligibility requirements and organizational provisions.

Updates references to insurance law tax sections from section 553 and 554 to sections 9104 and 9105 for collection of foreign fire insurance premium taxes.

Changes the permitted use of collected insurance taxes from "care and relief of disabled or indigent volunteer and exempt firemen and their families" to broader use "in furtherance of its purposes set forth in section 614.2."

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
