Beginning with statements due in calendar year 2025, all financial disclosure statements under Public Officers Law Section 73-a must be submitted through the electronic filing system administered by the Commission on Ethics and Lobbying in Government

Individuals required to file may request access to an electronic computer terminal from the Commission or their appointing authority, with access to be provided within two business days of the request

Individuals are not deemed to have filed late if electronic computer terminal access was not available as required

Individuals with a documented disability or infirmity may submit statements on paper forms with written attestation from a physician or licensed health provider

The act takes effect immediately upon enactment
