Amends Public Health Law Section 1394 to allow overnight camps, summer day camps, and traveling day camps to administer over-the-counter medications to children with parental permission, child request, or camp personnel determination.

Amends Education Law Section 901 to allow schools to administer over-the-counter medications to students with parental permission, student request, or school personnel determination, including oral medications, topical medications, and insect repellents.

Permits parents or guardians to provide advance written permission listing specific medications and doses that can be administered to their child.

Requires administration of over-the-counter medications to comply with dosing instructions on the medication packaging and does not require input from a healthcare provider.

Takes effect 120 days after becoming law, with immediate authorization for implementing regulations to be adopted before the effective date.
