Mandates that systems provide an easy-to-access notification method for public officials to request prevention of their unauthorized depictions, with timely status updates on requests.

Permits public officials to use safeguards to generate their own realistic depictions on covered systems, provided such safeguards meet reasonable standards consistent with industry practice.

Establishes liability of $100 per unauthorized depiction up to $100,000 aggregate for system operators who fail to implement reasonable prevention methods after notification.

Takes effect one year after becoming law and does not apply to system operators who do not own or control the underlying generative model used by the system.
