Creates new section 2799 of the public health law requiring coroners, pathologists, medical examiners, and other qualified persons to report cases of Lyme and tick-borne diseases discovered during examination of deceased individuals.

Mandates that reports be submitted promptly to the Department of Health according to procedures prescribed by the commissioner.

Applies to all tick-borne diseases as determined by the commissioner, not limited to Lyme disease alone.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment into law.
