Amends Mental Hygiene Law Section 13.09 to require the commissioner to notify the chief executive officer of any municipality when a sex offender is transferred to a community program or residence within that municipality.

Requires the commissioner to also notify the superintendent of schools in which such facility is located.

Mandates that notice be provided no later than ten calendar days prior to the transfer.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
