Prohibits transportation, sale, or offering for sale of eggs for human consumption in New York unless the eggs originate from poultry vaccinated against salmonella enteritidis.

Allows non-vaccinated eggs to be transported to egg-breaking plants for pasteurization with written permission from the commissioner.

Permits non-vaccinated eggs to be transported and possessed for research or experimentation purposes with written commissioner approval.

Establishes violation of this requirement as a class A misdemeanor.

Takes effect 180 days after becoming law, with commissioner authorized to promulgate necessary rules and regulations immediately.
