Establishes an aging in place task force within the office for the aging to study how New York State can encourage aging in place.

Task force shall examine infrastructure improvements, zoning changes, nutrition programs, fraud protections, home medical care expansion, tax incentives, and private insurance incentives.

Task force consists of 14 members including state officials, legislative committee leadership, and appointed representatives from the governor, senate leadership, and assembly leadership.

Two co-chairpersons shall be selected by the temporary president of the senate and speaker of the assembly, with the first meeting required within 60 days of the act's effective date.

Task force must issue a report with findings and recommendations to the governor and legislative leaders no later than January 1, 2026, and shall terminate on that date or December 31, 2025, whichever is later.
