Expands HIV prevention medication coverage requirements to apply to all large group policies providing medical, major medical, or comprehensive-type coverage, removing previous limitation to prescription drug coverage only.

Permits annual deductibles and coinsurance for pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis consistent with other policy benefits, unless rated 'A' or 'B' by the United States Preventive Services Task Force.

Applies coverage requirements to contracts issued by hospital services corporations and health services corporations in addition to traditional insurance policies.

Repeals paragraph 36 of subsection (i) of section 3216 of the insurance law regarding small employer policies.

Makes the bill effective immediately and applies to all policies and contracts issued, renewed, modified, altered, or amended on or after the effective date.
