Allows petitioners or social services officials to request a protective order to withhold a caller's identity if disclosure could endanger the person's life or health.

Exempts mandated reporters (individuals required by law to report child abuse) from the requirement to provide their name and contact information before reporting.

Updates confidentiality protections to prevent release of identifying information about report makers, except with permission or pursuant to court proceedings in the Family Court Act.
