Establishes a 12-member New York task force on agricultural investment to study and assess the future of agriculture in the state, with members appointed by the governor, senate temporary president, assembly speaker, and minority leaders of both chambers.

Governor appoints six members including the commissioner of agriculture and markets (who serves as chairperson), commissioners of labor, environmental conservation, housing and community renewal, and economic development, plus the president of the state energy research and development authority.

Task force shall study and evaluate state agriculture conditions and issues including labor, workforce development, economic conditions, and develop recommendations for farm sustainability and budgeting measures.

Task force authorized to request and utilize facilities, resources, and data from any state or local court, department, agency, or commission needed to carry out its duties.

Task force must report findings and recommendations to the governor, senate temporary president, and assembly speaker by November 1, 2023, and the act expires one year after taking effect.
