Prohibits any candidate from authorizing more than one political committee for any single election, effective 60 days after the law takes effect.

Requires candidates who have authorized multiple political committees as of December 1, 2024 to disavow all but one committee within 30 days in writing to the state board of elections.

Exempts exploratory committees authorized by elected public officials and prohibits multi-candidate committees from serving as authorized committees.

Requires campaign funds remaining in disavowed committees to be disposed of pursuant to election law provisions.

Mandates the state board of elections notify all candidates and political committees of these provisions within 30 days after the law becomes effective.
